The Zero Waste Project, initiated by Emine Erdoğan in 2017, has been awarded the Best Project Award by AKDENİZ-PA, recognizing Turkey’s efforts and initiatives in zero waste on an international scale. This accolade highlights the country’s commitment to sustainability and its role as a model for other nations.
The project has achieved significant milestones towards ensuring a cleaner world and a better future. We extend our gratitude to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, and the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly for raising awareness and supporting this valuable initiative.
