Turkish Vice President Attends Official Condolence Ceremony for Iranian Officials Killed in Helicopter Crash

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz attended an official condolence ceremony in Tehran for Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash. Representing Turkey, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also participated in the event. During the ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish nation conveyed their deepest condolences to Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhber and other Iranian government officials.

Following the crash, Iran’s Acting President Mokhber expressed gratitude to President Erdogan and the Turkish people for their support in the search and rescue operations carried out by Turkey.

Turkey has reiterated its commitment to stand in solidarity with the Iranian government and its people during these challenging times. Once again, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to our neighboring, friendly, and brotherly nation, Iran.
