Turkey has organized the EFES-2024 Exercise, integrating experiences from counter-terrorism operations and successful missions into on-field applications. The exercise features significant differences compared to previous years, with a focus on hybrid operational environments. Scenarios include urban warfare, special forces’ night infiltration from sea and air, raids, and the rescue of critical personnel. These scenarios draw from Turkey’s operations such as Euphrates Shield, Olive Branch, Peace Spring, and Spring Shield, as well as the Claw series operations, to further enrich the exercise. The objective of EFES-2024 is to effectively implement these experiences on the battlefield and achieve a high success rate in hybrid operational settings.
