Turkey’s Finance Minister, Mehmet Şimşek, held a meeting with World Bank Group President, Ajay Banga, to discuss the 2024-2028 Country Partnership Framework. The meeting addressed several collaborative efforts, including resilient cities, energy transformation, infrastructure, and support for SMEs and employment.
Currently, Turkey ranks second globally and first in its region in terms of active portfolio size with the World Bank. Minister Şimşek expressed gratitude for the World Bank’s confidence in the program and the support provided to Turkey.
