CHP Women’s Branch Leader Aylin Nazlıaka Commemorates Victims on 11th Anniversary of Gezi Park Protests
CHP Women’s Branch General President Aylin Nazlıaka made a statement on the 11th anniversary of the Gezi Park protests. In her address, Nazlıaka expressed her heartfelt remembrance of those who lost their lives during the Gezi Park protests. She emphasized the need to end the unlawful suspension of the Constitution and called for the release of individuals referred to as the “Gezi Prisoners.”
Nazlıaka stated, “We were all there. Darkness will fade, Gezi will remain! On the 11th anniversary of the Gezi Resistance, I remember those we lost with longing. The unlawful suspension of the Constitution must end, and the Gezi Prisoners must be freed.”
Nazlıaka also paid tribute to Ali İsmail Korkmaz, Abdullah Cömert, Ahmet Atakan, Berkin Elvan, Ethem Sarısülük, Mehmet Ayvalıtaş, Medeni Yıldırım, and Hasan Ferit Gedik, who lost their lives during the Gezi Resistance.
