CHP Leadership’s Visit to İzmir Highlights Optimistic Future for Local Governance
During a visit to İzmir, CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel, accompanied by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, engaged in significant discussions. As part of the visit, Yücel and Özel met with İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay, as well as district mayors and metropolitan council members. They extended their best wishes to the mayors of İzmir during these meetings.
In his statement, Deniz Yücel emphasized the party’s awareness of their responsibilities, stating, “Now is the time for service.” Yücel expressed confidence that despite the economic crisis and pressures on local administrations, İzmir, under the leadership of Cemil Tugay and district mayors, will experience this period as a “golden era.”
