CHP Leaders Convene with Adana Mayors for Turkey Municipalities Association Elections
CHP’s Deputy Chairman Responsible for Public Relations and Media Affairs, Burhanettin Bulut, met with the mayors from Adana at the CHP Headquarters in Ankara ahead of the Turkey Municipalities Association elections. The meeting was attended by Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar, Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin, Yüreğir Mayor Ali Demirçalı, Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, Yumurtalık Mayor Erdinç Altıok, Tufanbeyli Mayor Ahmet Aktürk, Aladağ Mayor Kemal Özdemir, and Kadirli Mayor Mustafa Mert Olcar.
The primary objective of this gathering was to exchange ideas and formulate election strategies before the Turkey Municipalities Association elections. Discussions also focused on the mayors’ experiences in local governance and their future plans.
This meeting is seen as part of Bulut’s efforts to strengthen CHP’s communication with local administrations and ensure the consistency of local governance practices across Turkey. After the meeting, Bulut stated, “We will continue to meet with our mayors at every opportunity, listen to their demands, and develop solutions. These discussions are very valuable to us.”
