The Republican People’s Party (CHP) is coming together in Rize to advocate for the rights of tea producers. CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel announced that they are organizing an event to highlight the challenges faced by those working in tea gardens.
The meeting will take place on Sunday, June 2, at 1:30 PM in Rize’s 15 July Democracy and Republic Square. CHP aims to bring public attention to the issues faced by tea producers and look for solutions through this gathering.
Deniz Yücel called upon the public to unite for solidarity, stating, “We will raise our voices together to those who do not hear the tea producer’s voice!” He emphasized that tea producers are not receiving their due compensation and are struggling even more under current economic conditions.
