CHP Calls for More Humane and Cost-Effective Solutions for Stray Animals
CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel made significant statements regarding the sterilization and care of stray animals.
Yücel criticized the practice of euthanizing stray animals due to cost concerns instead of sterilizing them. He remarked, “You won’t sterilize them because of costs, but you’ll spend six times more to euthanize them. Let’s not deceive ourselves!” Emphasizing the consequences of leaving animals hungry and thirsty, Yücel added, “Are you going to leave them starving and dehydrated for 30 days to tear each other apart? Are you going to kill them painfully with bleach?”
