AK Party Highlights Rising Far-Right Influence in European Parliament
AK Party Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson, Ömer Çelik, highlighted the performance of far-right, radical right, and populist socialist parties in the European Parliament elections. Çelik stated that these parties’ anti-Turkey and anti-Islam rhetoric poses new challenges for Europe.
In this context, Çelik emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation within Turkey and sending a strong message against far-right parties. He also pointed out that the President has expressed the sensitivity of Turkish parties to jointly combat the emerging fascist wave.
