President Erdogan Condemns the Death of Over 15,000 Children in Gaza

On International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed deep sorrow over the more than 15,000 children who have lost their lives in Gaza since October 7. Erdoğan stated that it isn’t just children’s lives that are being taken in Gaza, but also humanity itself, criticizing the global community for failing this critical test.

Addressing the United Nations, Erdoğan called on the organization that declared this special day to take concrete steps for the innocent children of Gaza who are losing their lives to bombings. He urged the UN to act with the motto “The world is bigger than five.”

President Erdoğan called on all nations to protect the dignity and honor of humanity alongside the children of Gaza and to take a clear stance against Israel’s unchecked use of power.

Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey will continue to extend a helping hand wherever in the world there are oppressed, victimized, or needy children. He underscored their commitment to working towards a more just world, believing that such a world is possible.
