Vice President of Turkey Discusses Economic Targets and Cooperation with EBRD Executives

Vice President of Turkey, Cevdet Yılmaz, met with executives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to discuss the Turkish economy, medium-term program targets, and developments in relations with the European Union. The meeting also focused on regional and global developments.

During the discussion, Yılmaz emphasized the significance of the over 20 billion Euros in financing provided by the EBRD for Turkey’s development. He expressed satisfaction with the alignment of priorities and cooperation between Turkey and the EBRD, highlighting the importance of both parties working towards common goals.

Furthermore, Yılmaz indicated that they expect the cooperation with the EBRD, which contributes to the economic and social development of the earthquake-stricken regions, to deepen further in areas such as green transformation, high value-added exports, technology-focused investments, and projects aimed at women and youth. He thanked the EBRD delegation for their valuable contributions.
