Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz Attends 953rd Anniversary of Malazgirt Victory
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz participated in the 953rd-anniversary celebrations of the Malazgirt Victory. The event was held in Bitlis and included an inauguration ceremony for public and private sector investments.
Following the inauguration, Yılmaz visited the Seljuk Cemetery and paid tribute to Sultan Alparslan and his army with prayers. During his speech at the cemetery, Yılmaz emphasized the importance of preserving the values of ancient civilization by stating, “The future lies in the roots.”
On the anniversary of the Malazgirt Victory, Yılmaz honored Sultan Alparslan and his esteemed army, who marked Anatolia with the seal of the homeland, expressing his hope for their souls to rest in peace. This event underscored Turkey’s commitment to its historical identity and values, serving as a significant commemoration.
