UN General Assembly Designates July 11 as Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Day

Çelik described the UN General Assembly’s decision as a commendable step for humanity. Emphasizing that the tragedy in Srebrenica should not be forgotten, Çelik stated that the international community must be more sensitive to ensure such painful events do not recur.
