Two Lose Lives in İzmir’s Alsancak Due to Electrical Discharge in 2024
In a tragic incident in 2024 in İzmir’s Alsancak, two individuals succumbed to an electrical discharge. The unfortunate event led to the deaths of Özge Ceren Deniz and İnanç Öktemay, who were walking on the street in the area.
Burhanettin Bulut, the CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for Public Relations and Media Relations and Adana Member of Parliament, expressed his condolences in a statement regarding the incident. He wished God’s mercy upon the deceased and offered condolences and patience to their families. Bulut mentioned that multiple complaints were previously lodged with the electricity distribution company, but these were ignored.
Bulut emphasized, “This is how cheap human life is! Those responsible, anyone negligent, must be held accountable before the law!”
