TÜRKSAT 6A Satellite to Launch Tonight from Kennedy Space Center

Türkiye’s first domestically produced and national communication satellite, TÜRKSAT 6A, is scheduled to be launched into orbit by SpaceX tonight at 00:20 from the Kennedy Space Center in the United States.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that this historic event would be watched from the Türksat Gölbaşı campus and invited all citizens to join in the excitement from their screens.

Providing more details about the news, Yılmaz stated, “Our TÜRKSAT 6A satellite is a significant step developed with our national technology. This achievement represents Turkey’s determination and strength in the field of space.”
