Turkish Warship TCG KINALIADA Visits Singapore as Part of Diplomatic Mission

The Turkish Naval Forces’ warship TCG KINALIADA, which is on a return voyage following its diplomatic mission to Japan, is making a port visit to Singapore from July 2-4, 2024, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan.

Upon its arrival in Singapore, TCG KINALIADA was welcomed by Turkish Ambassador to Singapore Mehmet Burçin Gönenli and Naval Attaché in Jakarta Naval Colonel İlker Basmaz.

As part of the visit, the crew of TCG KINALIADA conducted an official visit to Singapore Deputy Navy Chief Colonel Ho Jee Kien. Throughout the port visit, TCG KINALIADA will be open for public tours. Additionally, personnel from the Singapore Navy visited the ship and received detailed briefings on its capabilities.

A reception was hosted by Turkish Ambassador Mehmet Burçin Gönenli and the Commander of TCG KINALIADA, with attendees including Singapore Deputy Navy Chief Colonel Ho Jee Kien, foreign diplomatic representatives, Singapore Navy personnel, and Turkish representatives in Singapore.
