Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz Meets with Venezuelan Counterpart Delcy Rodriguez to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Turkey’s Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, met with Venezuela’s Vice President and Minister of Petroleum, Delcy Rodriguez, at the Presidential Complex.

**Meeting Details**

During their discussion, the two leaders addressed bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues. They reached an agreement to enhance cooperation in the fields of energy, tourism, and education. Yılmaz highlighted that Venezuela’s rising power in the region and its level of democratic maturity strengthen these collaborations.

**Trade Goals**

Cevdet Yılmaz emphasized the importance of increasing the trade volume between Turkey and Venezuela to $3 billion in the coming period. He stressed the need for further development of commercial relations between the two countries.

Yılmaz thanked Delcy Rodriguez for her visit and her positive stance towards increasing cooperation. He also expressed his respect and admiration for the Venezuelan government’s position on Israel’s attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, congratulating Venezuela’s President Maduro for this stance.
