Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz Deems Merih Demiral’s UEFA Suspension Unacceptable
Turkish Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, has declared the two-match suspension issued to national football player Merih Demiral by UEFA as unacceptable. Yılmaz called for a review of the decision with a more libertarian and fair approach and emphasized that Demiral’s defense should be taken seriously. “The excitement and beauty of football should not be overshadowed by political decisions,” Yılmaz stated in his reaction to the ruling.
