Turkish Party MP Fuat Oktay Condemns Support for Terrorist Organizations
AK Party Ankara MP Fuat Oktay expressed strong disapproval towards individuals who support terrorist organizations operating against Turkey. Focusing particularly on groups like the PKK and FETÖ, Oktay commented that those who back these organizations are unable to tolerate national footballer Merih Demiral’s victory celebration.
Oktay highlighted that, despite the rise of xenophobia and racism in the Western world, those who remain silent about these issues have no right to speak about the Turkish nation. He emphasized that the Turkish people, regardless of their origins, always stand with the oppressed globally.
Lastly, Oktay mentioned that attempts to hinder the National Football Team will only serve to further motivate the athletes. He affirmed that such efforts would not succeed.
