Turkish Navy Conducts Major Exercise with Lebanese Air Force Under UNIFIL Mission
The Turkish Navy’s patrol ship TCG BANDIRMA conducted a significant exercise off the coast of Lebanon as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission. This exercise included “Vertical Replenishment Training” with a BELL 212 helicopter from the Lebanese Air Force.
The exercise aims to strengthen cooperation between the armed forces of Turkey and Lebanon. Through these trainings, military units from both nations seek to enhance their joint operational capabilities and improve coordination in crisis situations.
This activity once again demonstrates the Turkish Armed Forces’ contribution to regional security and peace.
