Turkish Naval Forces Rescue Stranded Migrant Boat Near Çeşme
On August 4, 2024, the Turkish Navy ship TCG ALANYA identified a distressed migrant boat off the coast of Çeşme. Following this discovery, the Coast Guard Command was immediately notified, initiating a rapid rescue operation. As the ships approached, the migrant boat began sinking. The migrants were swiftly rescued from the sea and transferred to the Coast Guard Boat KB-38.
