Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca Addresses Fatal Traffic Accident on Mersin-Adana Highway
Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has provided updates regarding a multi-vehicle traffic accident on the Mersin-Adana Highway. Minister Koca confirmed that the accident, involving a passenger bus, resulted in the tragic loss of 10 lives and left 40 others injured, with 9 in critical condition.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at Mersin City Hospital, Mersin Tarsus State Hospital, and Adana Çukurova State Hospital. Minister Koca extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
In his statement, Koca emphasized the swift response of health teams following the accident. He noted that the injured were rapidly transported to nearby hospitals, and healthcare professionals are doing everything in their power to provide the best possible care to the victims.
