Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Visits Historic Sites in Xinjiang’s Kashgar City
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has conducted a visit to China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, where he inspected historical sites in the city of Kashgar. During his stay, Fidan visited significant cultural and historical landmarks, including the Mausoleum of Yusuf Has Hajib and the Id Kah Mosque, receiving detailed information about the historical and cultural significance of these areas.
Expressing his purpose for the visit, Minister Fidan emphasized that by examining the region’s historical heritage firsthand, Turkey aims to strengthen its cultural ties with the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was highlighted that Fidan’s visit seeks to bolster diplomatic relations and cultural exchanges between Turkey and China.
