Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler Meets with Romanian Counterpart in Istanbul
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler met with Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar in Istanbul. The meeting was also attended by Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, the Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces.
During the visit, Güler and Tilvar toured the Istanbul Shipyard Command and received information about the Design Project Office. Additionally, they conducted on-site inspections of the ongoing work on the mine-hunting ship TCG AMASRA.
This visit is considered a significant step towards enhancing defense cooperation between Turkey and Romania. The event, aimed at strengthening military relations between the two countries, highlights efforts to increase mutual understanding and collaboration.
