Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, after concluding his visit to Turkmenistan, has arrived in Uzbekistan for official discussions.
Güler was welcomed by Uzbekistan Defense Minister Lieutenant General Bahadır Kurbanov and was received by Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the meeting at the Presidential Office, Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister Lieutenant General Bahadır Kurbanov was also present. Following the visit, Minister Yaşar Güler expressed his satisfaction, stating, “Today, we are in our ancestral land, which brings us immense joy. We have made very significant decisions with the President on almost all matters, which we will implement as soon as possible. We will work together with my brother, the Defense Minister, and promptly carry out the directives of our President. I would like to extend the greetings and best wishes of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to our Uzbek brothers. In the upcoming period, we will engage in serious and intense efforts. As two brotherly nations, we will do everything we can to elevate our relations to higher levels.”
