In a recent statement from the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, it was announced that reconnaissance, surveillance, and patrol activities by border units are continuing without interruption.
During a search and sweep operation along the Van border line, a substantial amount of methamphetamine was seized. Nine sacks containing a total of 38.5 kilograms of the drug were discovered. The investigation revealed that these drugs were attempted to be smuggled into Turkey through illegal means. This successful operation resulted in the confiscation of a significant quantity of narcotics.
