Turkish and Saudi Defense Ministers Meet to Strengthen Bilateral Relations
Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Güler, met with Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister, Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, today in Ankara. The meeting took place at the Ministry of National Defense.
During the visit, Minister Güler welcomed his Saudi counterpart with a military ceremony. Minister Al Saud saluted the Honor Guard during the ceremony. Following the formalities, the two ministers, along with their delegations, commenced discussions. Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak and Deputy Minister Bilal Durdalı also participated in the meetings.
The agenda focused on enhancing defense relations between the two countries, regional security issues, and potential areas of cooperation. Both sides agreed on the necessity of strengthening existing ties further.
