Turkish and Kazakh Parliamentary Leaders Hold Key Meeting to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanıçbek Ömüraliyev, held a significant meeting with Mehmet Ali Cevheri, a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Chairman of the Turkey-Kazakhstan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.

The meeting took place on October 21, 2024, at the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States in Istanbul. The purpose of this gathering was to strengthen parliamentary cooperation between Turkey and Kazakhstan and to fortify the friendly relations between the two countries.

This discussion between Ömüraliyev and Cevheri is considered a step forward in enhancing the political and cultural solidarity of the Turkic world.

During the meeting, an exchange of ideas on mutual interests and strategic cooperation took place. The talks particularly focused on deepening the existing political relations between the two nations, increasing economic collaboration, and supporting cultural interaction.
