Turkic Council’s Drought Prevention Institute Holds Second Online Board Meeting
The Drought Prevention Institute of the Turkic States Organization (TSO) conducted its second board meeting online on June 21, 2024. The meeting was presided over by the Executive Director of the TSO Representation Office in Hungary.
During the meeting, strategies and projects aimed at combating drought were prioritized. Key discussions focused on reducing drought risk and effectively managing water resources. Participants shared best practices in this field and explored ways to enhance regional cooperation.
This meeting aims to develop a common understanding and cooperation in the fight against drought. The Turkic States Organization seeks to promote knowledge and experience sharing among member countries to develop sustainable solutions.
