Turkic Council Secretary-General Attends the 9th Great Hun-Turk Kurultay in Hungary as Guest of Honor
In an invitation extended by the Hungarian-Turan Foundation, Kubanıçbek Ömüraliyev, the Secretary-General of the Turkic Council, attended the “9th Great Hun-Turk Kurultay” celebrations as the guest of honor in Bugac, Hungary, on August 10-11, 2024.
Traditionally, participants of the Kurultay celebrations gathered for the first time at the Hungarian National Assembly on August 9, 2024. Among the speakers at the event were the Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, Sándor Lezsák, Turkic Council Secretary-General Ambassador Kubanıçbek Ömüraliyev, President of Turkic Organizations, parliamentarians, and high-level officials from Turkic states.
In his speech, Ömüraliyev emphasized that the Hun-Turk Kurultay is a significant forum dedicated to the shared Turkic-Hungarian roots, culture, and values. He highlighted that this event is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Turkic peoples.
