Turkey’s Vice President Meets Algerian President to Strengthen Bilateral Ties and Collaboration

Turkey’s Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, held a meeting with the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, focusing on enhancing existing cooperation, particularly in the energy sector, and exploring potential new avenues for collaboration.

During the discussions, Yılmaz and Tebboune thoroughly examined ways to boost commercial relations and ease trade procedures to achieve the previously established trade volume target of $10 billion.

The meeting also covered bilateral and regional issues. Yılmaz expressed Turkey’s appreciation for Algeria’s stance against Israel’s human rights violations in Palestine. He emphasized that Turkey will continue to show solidarity with Algeria on all platforms concerning Palestine and will remain supportive of their Palestinian brothers.

Yılmaz thanked President Tebboune and his delegation for their hospitality and expressed hope for the continued strengthening of ties between the two brotherly nations.
