In a significant diplomatic event held in Istanbul, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Ethiopian Foreign Minister Taye Atske Selassie, and Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi participated in a joint press conference. The meeting focused on the collaboration and friendship between Turkey, Ethiopia, and Somalia.
Hakan Fidan highlighted Turkey’s robust relationships with Ethiopia and Somalia and discussed potential steps to further enhance these ties. The ministers emphasized the importance of cooperation in areas such as regional security, economy, trade, and humanitarian aid.
Fidan stressed that Turkey is always ready to support stability and development efforts in the region. In response, both Taye Atske Selassie and Ahmed Moallim Fiqi expressed their gratitude for the support provided by Turkey and underscored the significance of continuing these cooperative efforts.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the three ministers confirmed their commitment to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between their countries.
