Turkey Reaches Top 10 in Global Furniture Export
Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced during the Furniture Industry Summit organized by Turkmoysad that Turkey has become the 10th largest furniture exporter in the world, signaling the country’s entry into the big league in this sector.
Investment Incentives and Supports
Minister Kacır emphasized that the Ministry of Industry and Technology has been providing significant incentives and support to the furniture sector. Thanks to these support measures, new investments have been pouring into this shining star of Turkey’s industry.
Number of Investment Incentive Certificates
Kacır revealed that over the past 22 years, 2,776 investment incentive certificates have been issued to businesses in the sector. These investments totaled 75 billion Turkish Lira and created employment opportunities for 68,000 qualified workers.
Summit Held in Sakarya
These announcements were made at a summit held in Sakarya, focusing on the opportunities and developments Turkey is experiencing in furniture production.
