Turkey Pays Tribute to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the 86th Anniversary of His Passing

Turkey commemorates the hero of the War of Independence and the founder of the Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 86th anniversary of his passing with respect and reverence.

Every year on November 10, the country observes Atatürk Memorial Day with various events nationwide. This year, too, programs are held to remember and honor Atatürk’s legacy and values. This tradition is upheld across all segments of society as an expression of the love and respect for Atatürk.
