Turkey Launches First Indigenous Communication Satellite, TÜRKSAT 6A
AK Party Ankara Deputy Fuat Oktay extended his wishes for Turkey’s first locally produced communication satellite, TÜRKSAT 6A, to be beneficial for the nation and its people.
TÜRKSAT 6A stands out as a project developed to enhance Turkey’s independence and capacity in the field of communication satellites.
Oktay remarked that with the launch of TÜRKSAT 6A, Turkey has achieved another significant milestone in the space sector. Emphasizing that this development will strengthen the country’s technological infrastructure, Oktay noted that the satellite will have positive impacts on communication and information technologies.
Developed through the efforts and dedication of the Turkish Space Agency and other relevant institutions, TÜRKSAT 6A will grant Turkey significant capability in the field of communication. Oktay congratulated all the scientists and engineers who contributed to this achievement and expressed his gratitude to everyone involved.
With TÜRKSAT 6A entering into service, Turkey aims to achieve a more independent position in the realm of information and communication technologies by utilizing its indigenous satellite in space.
