In a significant military event, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense organized the 4th International Best Sniper Team Competition from May 20 to 31, 2024, in Isparta. Hosted by the Mountain and Commando School and Training Center Command, the event drew participation from 11 countries besides Turkey, including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Bahrain, TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), Bulgaria, UAE, USA, Iraq, and Libya. Additionally, observers from Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, and Turkmenistan attended the event.
A total of 28 teams from 14 countries showcased their sniper skills across challenging courses and various targets. The primary objective of the competitions, as stated, was to strengthen military cooperation between different nations and to share best practices in sniping.
