Turkey Distributes 4 Billion TL to Families in Need Through Family Support Program
Ankara—Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that the payments for the Turkey Family Support Program have been deposited into the accounts, distributing a total of 4 billion TL to needy households this month.
Minister Göktaş emphasized their commitment to a social service philosophy that leaves no one behind, saying, “We continue to share the prosperity of our growing and developing country with our citizens. With this month’s payment, we have provided a total of 88.2 billion TL in support to households through the Turkey Family Support Program to date.”
Highlighting that households receiving regular social aid as well as those without any particular disadvantages but meeting income criteria are included in the Turkey Family Support Program, Minister Göktaş reiterated their dedication to supporting needy households consistently.
“With the support we have implemented for households in need, we continue to stand by them,” Minister Göktaş said. “We have deposited this month’s Turkey Family Support Program payments into the accounts. Thus, we provided a total of 4 billion TL to needy households this month,” she added.
Minister Göktaş emphasized that the ministry is enhancing the effectiveness of social assistance programs by considering evolving life conditions. “In this context, we apply our social aids holistically. We reach out to all segments of society with our demand-oriented and accessible service network, adhering to an equal and fair service principle without any discrimination among our citizens,” she concluded.
