Turkey and Brazil Hold Significant Naval Cooperation Meeting
On July 15-16, 2024, a pivotal naval cooperation meeting between Turkey and Brazil took place. The event, named the “1st Turkey-Brazil Naval Cooperation Meeting,” was chaired by Rear Admiral Gökçen Fırat, Head of the Naval Forces Defense Planning and Project Management Department, representing the Turkish delegation. Leading the Brazilian delegation was Rear Admiral Leandro Ferrone Demetrio De Souza, Head of International Relations for the Brazilian Navy.
Before the meeting, the Brazilian delegation paid a visit to Anıtkabir. Following this ceremonial visit, inter-delegation meetings were held at the Naval Forces Headquarters.
