Turbulent US-Turkey Relations During Trump’s Presidency
The turbulent relationship between Turkey and the United States during Trump’s presidency was marked by numerous contentious issues. After assuming office in 2016, Donald Trump’s tenure saw a period of heightened tensions that shaped the dynamics between the two countries.
One of the most controversial topics was the direct arming of YPG/PKK forces in Syria by the US.
