Transfer of Duty Ceremony Held at the General Directorate of Security
A transfer of duty ceremony was organized at the General Directorate of Security, marking the appointment of Mahmut Demirtaş as the new General Director. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appointed Mahmut Demirtaş, who was welcomed by the Police Band and the honor guard.
General Director Mahmut Demirtaş took over the position from Erol Ayyıldız, who has been appointed as the Governor of Bursa. The ceremony saw the attendance of Deputy General Directors, Presidents, and Department Heads.
Erol Ayyıldız presented a bouquet of flowers to Mahmut Demirtaş and wished him success in his new role. In return, Mahmut Demirtaş expressed his gratitude by presenting a bouquet and a plaque to Ayyıldız.
Following the presentations, Mahmut Demirtaş and the executives of the Central Organization of the General Directorate of Security posed for a commemorative photo.
