Bartın Provincial Directorate teams have initiated an investigation after tonnes of waste were found dumped at the İnkumu Wild Waste Disposal Site over the weekend.
**Discovery of Dumped Waste**
Local authorities identified that numerous tonnes of waste had been illegally offloaded at the İnkumu Wild Waste Disposal Site, located 9 kilometers from Bartın city center. The incident has raised significant environmental concerns due to the resultant pollution.
**Investigation Underway**
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change has launched an investigation to determine which individuals or institutions are responsible for the waste dumping. Ministry officials emphasized that once the perpetrators are identified, appropriate legal actions will be taken.
