TİKA’s Initiative to Preserve Manuscripts in Pakistan: Training Conducted in Istanbul
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), in collaboration with the Directorate of State Archives and the Manuscripts Institution, has taken a significant step towards preserving manuscripts in Pakistan. As part of this initiative, eight Pakistani experts working on manuscripts in the cities of Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi received “Preventive Conservation Measures Technical Training for the Preservation of Manuscripts” in Istanbul. This training aims to enhance the knowledge and experience sharing in the conservation and maintenance of manuscript heritage. TİKA continues its efforts to support the preservation of international cultural heritage.
