TİKA Continues Efforts to Preserve Historical Manuscripts in Pakistan
In a bid to safeguard Pakistan’s invaluable cultural heritage, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) is actively working on preserving historical manuscripts. Collaborating with significant libraries in Pakistan, TİKA has developed various projects aimed at conserving and restoring these precious artifacts.
Recent initiatives by TİKA are specifically targeted at ensuring the transmission of Pakistan’s invaluable manuscript heritage to future generations. Experts from TİKA are involved in archiving these manuscripts digitally and participating in restoration processes, taking necessary steps to maintain the physical integrity of the documents.
These efforts are of immense importance as they reflect Pakistan’s rich history. The manuscripts contain valuable information, both historically and culturally. With TİKA’s support, especially the repair of deteriorated or damaged manuscripts, a significant stride is being made towards preserving and passing down Pakistan’s cultural legacy to future generations.
