Three Terrorists Neutralized in “Bozdoğan-41” Operation in Van
The Minister of Interior, Mr. Ali Yerlikaya, announced that three terrorists, including one purported leader, were neutralized in the “Bozdoğan-41” operation against the separatist terrorist organization (BTÖ) in the rural area of Başkale, Van.
The “Bozdoğan-41” operation was conducted following the intelligence efforts by the Van Provincial Gendarmerie Command, in coordination with the Gendarmerie General Command Intelligence Directorate and the Counterterrorism Department. The operation received air support from J-SİHA, ATAK Attack Helicopters, and the Air Force Command. The Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH) and Gendarmerie Commando units successfully neutralized three BTÖ terrorists along with their weapons.

- One of the neutralized terrorists, identified as Demhat Şero Welat (Ilyas Ayaz), was a supposed leader in the area.
