On June 7, 2024, the third of six submarines being constructed and equipped at Gölcük Naval Shipyard, named MURATREİS, successfully completed another critical phase. The submarine was moved from the construction hall to the floating dock, marking a significant milestone in the construction process. According to a statement by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, the construction of the submarine is progressing as planned.
