TCG TÜRKELİ Conducts Joint Training with German Navy’s FGS GROMITZ Under NATO Mission
The Turkish coast guard vessel, TCG TÜRKELİ, carried out a series of training exercises with the German Navy’s FGS GROMITZ as part of the NATO Standing Maritime Group 2 (SNMG-2) mission.
According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense, the purpose of these joint exercises is to enhance cooperation between the two nations’ naval forces and to improve their operational capabilities. These exercises are also aimed at contributing to NATO’s security and collaboration missions.
