Secretary General Ömüraliyev Attends 13th General Assembly of Turkic States Parliamentary Assembly in Baku
Baku, June 6, 2024 – Ambassador Kubanıbek Ömüraliyev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), participated in the 13th General Assembly Session of the Turkic States Parliamentary Assembly (TURKPA) held in Baku.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation among Turkic States and strengthening inter-parliamentary relations. TURKPA members exchanged views on regional and international issues, emphasizing their commitment to act in line with shared interests and strategic goals.
In his speech, Secretary General Ömüraliyev highlighted the solidarity among Turkic States and underscored TURKPA as a crucial platform for regional cooperation. He pointed out the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in international relations and stressed the need to further strengthen the bonds between Turkic States.
As a result of the meeting, various agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation among the participant countries were signed, and plans for future collaborative projects were discussed.
