Scandalous Practice by the Ministry of National Education Criticized by CHP

The General President of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Women’s Branch, Aylin Nazlıaka, has criticized a new initiative launched by the Ministry of National Education. The controversial initiative involves a form titled “Monitoring School Attendance of Roma Students,” which has sparked significant backlash.

Nazlıaka Calls Out Minister Tekin

Aylin Nazlıaka addressed the Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, questioning the purpose behind this new initiative. “What is the objective of sending this form to schools?” Nazlıaka asked, urging the ministry to eliminate discrimination rather than perpetuate societal prejudices.

End the Inequality of Opportunity

Highlighting the educational inequalities faced by Roma students, Nazlıaka emphasized that the continuation of such disparities is unacceptable. She passionately appealed to the ministry to “Stop fueling discrimination!” and called for a more sensitive and inclusive approach.
