President Erdoğan Highlights National Defense Progress at EFES-2024 Exercise
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan evaluated the progress in increasing national and local production in the defense industry during his speech at the EFES-2024 Exercise. He emphasized, “Since the process began in 2002, we have mobilized every possible resource to maximize national and local production in the defense industry. Thanks to this advancement in the defense sector, Turkey has become an indispensable player in its region.”
Erdoğan underlined the significant strides Turkey has made in recent years in the defense sector during his address. While detailing the aim and specifics of the event, he noted that Turkey has strengthened its position both regionally and globally. In this context, he stated that the EFES-2024 Exercise once again showcased Turkey’s military capacity and success in defense technologies.
